Spectrum Energy helped generate more than $108,000 in utility incentives through five HVAC upgrade projects.
May 15, 2026 – Spectrum Energy received Pepco’s 2025 Top Service Provider, Mechanical Efficiency Award, recognizing the service provider that achieved the greatest energy savings through the design and implementation of high-efficiency mechanical solutions.
Spectrum earned the award for the successful completion of five HVAC upgrade projects in 2025. Collectively, the projects generated more than $108,000 in utility incentives while helping reduce energy use, lower operating costs, and improve building performance across multiple properties.
Pepco presented the award during its annual Service Provider Awards ceremony on May 15. The annual program recognizes participating service providers for energy savings, project performance and customer service through Pepco’s Energy Savings for Business Program.
“This recognition reflects the work our team does with customers to identify energy-saving opportunities and turn them into completed projects,” said Chet Knaup, president of Spectrum Energy. “We appreciate Pepco’s recognition and the role its program plays in helping businesses make energy-efficiency investments.”
The Pepco Service Provider Awards recognize organizations that work with commercial customers to identify and implement energy-saving improvements. The awards highlight the role utility incentives can play in helping businesses improve building performance and manage long-term operating costs.
